I’m a Milwaukee wedding photographer based out of Hartford, WI. Conveniently located just one hour outside of both Milwaukee & Madison, I happily travel to both cities for wedding celebrations and lifestyle photoshoots. I also travel to Lake Geneva, Oshkosh & Chicago to photograph weddings. In Hartford, I live on an 8-acre flower farm with my husband and 2 dogs…I spend a lot of time photographing family & senior photography sessions on our property.

Yes! I have traveled to 27 countries and my passport is up to date. I have photographed destination weddings in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico, as well as in Lake Como & Tuscany, Italy. I’d be ecstatic to capture more celebrations abroad!!
A3.
I love to travel! While I frequently work throughout Wisconsin and the Midwest, my photography has taken me all across the USA and around the world. I’ve captured destination weddings and elopements in stunning locations like Cabo San Lucas, Mexico, as well as Lake Como and Tuscany in Italy. Engagement sessions have enabled me to visit the foothills of the Rocky Mountains, explore the beaches of St. Petersburg, Florida, and wander the cityscape of San Francisco, California.
I’ve also photographed family sessions in the scenic Upper Peninsula of Michigan, Gatlinburg, Tennessee, and Asheville, North Carolina.
Beyond the United States, I’ve documented portraits, landscapes, wildlife, and street scenes throughout Nicaragua and Southeast Asia—including Bali and Lombok in Indonesia, as well as Thailand, Cambodia, Vietnam, Sri Lanka, and India. Traveling allows me to bring a fresh perspective to every session, and I’m always excited for the next adventure!

My wedding photography approach intuitively blends documentary, lifestyle & editorial styles. With so many moving pieces on a wedding day, it is imperative to know which style to pull out (and when). By artfully capturing the organic moments that unfold throughout your special day and expertly guiding classic, clean portraits with a well-practiced set of prompts & poses, I ensure that every moment is honestly & elegantly documented. From a color & editing perspective, my style is true to life & vibrant. I strive to create wedding imagery that reflects the reality of your day. Classic, true-to-life colors will endure forever.
My portrait photography repertoire includes family, maternity, newborn & senior photography. My lifestyle portrait sessions are relaxed and fun. I use humor and movement to pull out the qualities that make you and yours unique. This results in lifestyle photography that is honest and genuine.

I have photographed wedding celebrations at so many incredible venues throughout Wisconsin over the years!
Here is a short list of my favorites: The Fitzgerald, Villa Terrace, South Second, The Riviera, Maxwell Mansion, The Ivy House, Schlitz Audubon, Best Place at the Historic Pabst Brewery, Discovery World, Greenhouse No 7, Kimpton Journeyman Hotel, Garver Feed Mill, Coast, The Atrium, Milwaukee Yacht Club.
I love photographing weddings at venues that showcase exceptional architecture and historical charm, whether it’s a beautifully landscaped lakeshore setting or an industrial-chic space filled with giant windows and lush greenery.

I love to be involved from the very beginning of the wedding experience, so if you are planning a surprise proposal, let’s coordinate an incredible photoshoot to commemorate the beginning of your forever! I also photograph engagement sessions, bridal portraits, boudoir portraits, bridal showers & rehearsal dinner celebrations. I’d also join in on an epic bachelorette party if the opportunity arose. (Chicago or Nashville, anyone?!)
A10.
I recommend reaching out for wedding photography services at least 9 months before your celebration. Portrait sessions fill up quickly so reaching out at least 2 months prior is recommended.

A professional wedding photographer has contingencies in place should an emergency arise on a wedding day. In over 11 years of photographing wedding celebrations I have never had to initiate my contingency plan, but if something were to arise that inhibited me from photographing your wedding, I would call on the network of professional photographers I have cultivated over the years to assist.
Q13.
Do you have options for second photographers and what are the benefits of having a second photographer at my wedding?
A13.
I photograph 95% of my weddings solo, but offer the option of having a second photographer at your wedding celebration. Having a second photographer at your wedding allows for additional creativity and different perspectives in your final gallery. A second photographer can also help streamline the timeline of your day if you have a large wedding party, guest count or multiple locations involved.
A14.
With over 11 years of photographing weddings, I have honed an intuitive approach when shooting. I know the typical cadence of events and what will likely unfold when. I love to be immersed in the action so that I can capture both the key moments as well as the organic happenings that unfold naturally. I partner with my clients on the development of a Planning Guide and it includes a segment for outlining a robust family shot list. This helps optimize time during the family portrait component of your special day!
A15.
You are able to share your images with family and friends. You also have printing rights for your images, however I strongly recommend that we collaborate on bringing your digital files to life. I have access to top caliber printing labs and the difference in quality is astounding!
A16.

No. I do not limit the number of images delivered in your final gallery. My mission with our time together is to tell the story of your wedding day. I seek out opportunities for candid imagery and also prioritize capturing great portraits of your guests enjoying themselves at your wedding. No moment is too big or too small to include in your final gallery.
A18.
For a lifestyle (family, maternity, newborn) photoshoot, you can expect a minimum of 75 images. For a typical full wedding day, you can expect 1200 images.
A19.
Full wedding galleries are delivered within 60 days of your celebration. I present a preview shortly after your wedding day, so you can relish in the joy & love all over again while I craft your final wedding collection.
A20.
Yes, absolutely. When searching for your wedding photographer, it is so important to see an entire wedding gallery. Wedding days are complex; many people, tight schedules, difficult lighting conditions, various locations…in order to truly understand the quality of a wedding photographer, you should review a full wedding gallery to see a celebration from beginning to end. This will give you a comprehensive idea of the skill level you can expect for your own wedding celebration.
